Then you've found the wrong island.  With so few houses on the Island, the Harbor Island beaches are a perfect place to get away from the crowds that you'll often find at other SC beaches.

Harbor Island has more than 2 miles of private beaches.  But if you want a little more beach adventure, our house comes with a free pass to explore the beaches and trails at Hunting Island as well as a day-pass to explore the beach at Fripp Island.

Because Harbor Island is separated from Lady's Island by the Harbor River and from Hunting Island by Johnson Creek,  the island teams with natural beauty and wildlife.  In the early summer, you may see the tracks of a mother Sea Turtle that beached to lay her eggs, or the holes of ghost crabs near the dunes.  By mid summer the shrimp boat
