Happiness Harbor is our 4 bedroom, 4 bath home on private and gated, Harbor Island. Located at 32 Harbor Drive, Harbor Island, SC, you'll find this open-floor plan home to be a perfect place for a family beach vacation.
The 180-degree expansive marsh and ocean views from the expansive front porches are accessible from the main living area on the first floor and from both primary suites on the 2nd floor. The sunsets over the marsh are simply incredible as you enjoy watching the sky change colors as the sun slips into the marsh and Harbor River. Each of the four bedrooms have access to an expansive covered porch as well as their own private, full bathroom.
Our kitchen is outfitted and arranged with the chef in mind and includes a full-size commercial standing freezer, a commercial ice maker and an oversized commercial refrigerator. The coffee center has a drip coffee maker and a kuerig. The dining table seats 8 with extra bar top seating. There is even a table for the little ones.
Stepping out of the kitchen sliding door you take in the view of Harbor Creek in the back of the home. This covered porch has a gas grill, and a built in bar with stools for sipping coffee with the sunrise or enjoying afternoon cocktails in the shade. The bar is the perfect place for an oyster roast or crab boil. This open floor-plan home is truly built and stocked for families.
The garage area under the home has plenty of parking for the 2 golf carts (a 4-seater and a 6-seater) as well as parking for 2 cars. Although many visitors find it the perfect place to leave space for playing games, like our ring toss or corn hole in a shaded area protected from rain. The outdoor furniture in the space offers plenty of seating for the entire family and is perfect to pull into the back yard to enjoy the fire pit.
When you rent 32 Harbor Drive we also include a pass to Hunting Island and a gate pass to Fripp Island (if requested). That gives you access to 3 Islands and 3 different beaches, all within 10 minutes of the house!

Now a SC State park, it was once home to a sea Island lighthouse, a civil war battalion and a renowned hunting preserve. The yellow car pass hanging near the freezer is your free ticket to explore the beaches, light house structures, nature center and pier at this gem. And it’s only 7 minutes away!
